Steel for the machine industry
Machine shops buy bar, not stories. Typically 42CrMo4 or 34CrNiMo6 in round, sawn and often bored, so the lathe starts closer to the part. The certificate has to follow the piece into your ISO file.
What we bring
Quenching and tempering and case hardening, cutting to length, boring, QT to drawing. Remnant stock via ReSteel when a dimension fits and you want to avoid a full bar length.
