Stainless steel
1.4435 stainless steel
1.4435 is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel, EN X2CrNiMo18-14-3. More Mo and Ni than 1.4404. Better pitting resistance than 316L – still not 904L. INDUSTRISTÅL supplies bar and plate with 3.1. Often used where 316L pits in pharma and process.
