431 / 1.4057 stainless steel
431 is a martensitic stainless steel with Werkstoffnummer 1.4057, EN X17CrNi16-2. Nickel gives a tougher core than 410/420. It can be hardened. The corrosion resistance is not 316L. INDUSTRISTÅL supplies bar, cuts to length and ships with 3.1. 1.4313 when the 13-4 toughness has to go higher.
