A105 / SA-105 forging steel
A105 is an unalloyed forging steel to ASME SA-105. The job often resembles P250GH / 1.0460 – the certificate is ASME, not EN 10222. INDUSTRISTÅL sources material from European mills, cuts to length or to size and ships with 3.1 when the mill can issue it. P250GH when the EN standard is a requirement.

Frequently asked questions
- What is A105?
- ASME forging steel for flanges and fittings. Not the same certificate as P250GH.
- Can you supply A105 instead of P250GH?
- Only if the drawing accepts ASME. Otherwise it is P250GH / 1.0460.
- What about A350 LF2?
- LF2 when low temperature is specified. A105 when it is not.
