Induction bending of pipe
Induction bending heats a narrow band of the pipe and bends it to a programmed radius. The result is a run without welded elbows – fewer joints, better flow, shorter installation. Induction bending is the international term for the method. The case on a specific route is under cases.
When it beats fittings
District heating, process lines and offshore spools where the number of welds has to come down, or the radius lies outside standard elbows. We match pipe grade, wall and radius before we book the bend.
