Steel for district heating
District heating is pipe, bends, coating and repair of the lines that are already in the ground. We supply boiler and structural tube, fittings, finished coating and InduSeal when a leaking seam has to be sealed without replacing a long section.

Typical delivery

Pipe in the dimensions the route requires. Fittings and flanges in the same order. Induction bending instead of a forest of elbows. Coating so the pipe can be welded in when it arrives. P grades when pressure and temperature appear in the same sentence.
InduSeal on the buried line
InduSeal is a pressure plate in P355GH laid over a leaking weld seam or other damage. The plate is thicker than the original pipe, can extend the service life by more than 30 years, and the excavation can be kept to 2×2 to 5×5 metres per 16 metres. Installation can take place in operation when the correct WPS is used.
When the casing pipe has to be replaced
Step-bent, bevelled pipe shells make it possible to replace the lining pipe without interrupting the connection. Up to Ø2500. CITY2 is an example where district heating was kept running while the lining pipe was reinforced.
