EN 10204 3.1 certificate
3.1 is the certificate Danish industry expects on alloy bar and pressure-bearing material. The manufacturer confirms that the mechanical values come from the delivered heat – not from a type example. We do not charge for 3.1.
2.2, 3.1 and 3.2
A 2.2 document contains results from non-specific testing. A 3.1 certificate contains results from specific testing and is validated by the manufacturer's authorised inspection representative, who is independent of the production department. The certificate type is determined by the basis of testing and the validation – not by the document layout or the number of columns. 3.2 involves an external party – notified body or the customer's inspector.
What we do
3.1 is included. 3.2, DNV, ABS and TÜV are ordered when the PO requires it. How that looks on a specific order is described under certificates.
