1.8714 wear-resistant steel approx. 400 HB
1.8714 is a water-quenched wear-resistant steel. The hardness is in the plate from the mill – typically around 400 HB. It is not S355 with a hard surface, and it is not manganese steel. INDUSTRISTÅL supplies plate, cuts to size and ships with 3.1. X120Mn12 when the wear is impact wear and work hardening is the point.
