Boring – away with the core
When the part is a ring or a heavy tube, it is expensive to turn the core away at your end. We bore the bar out before it lands on your floor. That is especially relevant in 42CrMo4 and 34CrNiMo6, where the price per kilo makes the core waste.
Typical parts
Bushes, hubs, rings and parts that later go onto the lathe with a pilot bore. We agree the remaining wall and tolerance, so you have something to hold.
