SA516-70 / SA516 Grade 70 pressure vessel plate
SA516 Grade 70 is an ASME pressure vessel plate. The job often resembles P355GH – the certificate is ASME/ASTM, not EN 10028. INDUSTRISTÅL sources plate from European mills, cuts to size and ships with 3.1 when the mill can issue it. P355GH when the EN standard is a requirement.

Frequently asked questions
- What is SA516-70?
- ASME pressure vessel plate Grade 70. Not the same certificate as P355GH.
- Can you supply SA516 instead of P355GH?
- Only if the drawing and the notified body accept ASME. Otherwise it is P355GH.
- Do you supply SA516-60 as well?
- Yes. Grade 60 when 70 is more than the job requires.
