What it is used for
Hot-forming dies, shears and knives where the drawing specifies 1.2345 or SI859.
Limits
1.2343 when H11/W300 is what the workshop knows. 1.2344 when H13 is specified.
Delivery
We source 1.2345 / SI859 from European mill partners as round bar, flat bar, plate, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: soft annealed. Standard: X50CrMoV5-1. From one sawn piece of the block to a series of parts — with no minimum charge.
Certificates and documentation
1.2345 / SI859 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. Tool steel is bought on W.Nr. and condition, and we write the number on the paper that the mill can carry — not a trade name the certificate does not cover. If a specific delivery hardness is to be documented, it must be on the order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
