What it is used for
Critical gear and shaft material where 15CrNi6 is not enough.
Limits
Confirm condition (+A / +FP) and certificate before we lock in a heat.
Delivery
We source 15NiCr13 from European mill partners as round bar, flat bar, square bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +A / +FP / +TH. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
15NiCr13 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. The certificate documents the analysis and the delivery condition — not the finished case hardening, since case and core hardness only arise at the heat treater. If the hardening result is to be documented, that is a separate agreement. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
Dimension programme
| Form | Range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar | Ø20–400 mm hot rolled, forged above | QT bar. State +QT and Ø. |
| Flat bar | Cut to order | Not a standard range of widths. |
| Square bar | Cut to order | State side length. |
The range is a delivery programme, not a stock statement. Length is cut to your drawing.
