What it is used for
Plate, tube and bar for process, food and corrosion protection in Alloy 45TM.
Limits
The 304 family in mild environments. 316L in chlorides. L variants when welding. Duplex when strength and pitting resistance both need to go up.
Delivery
We source Alloy 45TM from European mill partners as seamless tube, welded tube, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: solution annealed. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
Alloy 45TM can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On stainless, the analysis and the delivery condition are what the certificate shows. If a specific test or an ageing/hardening condition is to be documented, it must be specified before we order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
