What it is used for
Plate, tube and bar for process, food and corrosion protection in Alloy G-3.
Limits
The 304 family in mild environments. 316L in chlorides. L variants when welding. Duplex when strength and pitting resistance both need to go up.
Delivery
We source Alloy G-3 from European mill partners as seamless tube, welded tube, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: solution annealed. Standard: NiCr22Mo7Cu. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
Alloy G-3 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On stainless, the analysis and the delivery condition are what the certificate shows. If a specific test or an ageing/hardening condition is to be documented, it must be specified before we order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
