What it is used for
Hull plate where the classification society specifies D36 or DH36.
Limits
EH36 when the E class is specified. AH36 when A is sufficient.
Delivery
We source DH36 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
DH36 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
Dimension programme
| Form | Range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar | Ø40–250 mm | Hot-rolled bar, cut to length. |
| Flat bar | Cut to order | Flat bar. |
| Plate | 6–60 mm thickness | DH36 when the temperature class requires it. |
The range is a delivery programme, not a stock statement. Length is cut to your drawing.
