P355NL2 is pressure vessel steel with a stricter low-temperature certificate than P355NL1. Same 355 class, different toughness class.

What it is used for
Vessels where NL1 is not enough on the cold side.
Limits
P355NL1 when NL2 is not required. P355NH when the temperature goes the other way.
Delivery
We source P355NL2 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +N / +NT. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
P355NL2 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On pressure-bearing material the certificate is part of the product: standard, condition and tests must be on the enquiry, and 3.2 must be agreed before the material is locked at the mill. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials — 3.2 and third party by project, when the mill can issue it.
