P355QL1 is QT pressure vessel steel with documented toughness at low temperature. QL1 is not the same certificate as NL1.

What it is used for
Vessels specified to EN 10028-6.
Limits
P355NL1 when the material is normalised. Confirm the standard before we lock in the heat.
Delivery
We source P355QL1 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +N / +NT. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
P355QL1 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On pressure-bearing material the certificate is part of the product: standard, condition and tests must be on the enquiry, and 3.2 must be agreed before the material is locked at the mill. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials — 3.2 and third party by project, when the mill can issue it.
