S275 is weldable structural steel with 275 MPa yield — between S235 and S355. The JR variant is the one most people trade.

What it is used for
Structures where S235 is on the low side and S355 is more than the job requires.
Limits
S355J2 is the usual switch when the drawing says 355 or J2.
Delivery
We source S275 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. Standard: S275JR. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
S275 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
