S355J2C / 1.0579 non-alloy structural steel
S355J2C is S355J2 for cold forming. The C indicates that the plate is intended for bending — same 355 MPa class, different formability from heavy S355J2+N.

What it is used for
Thinner structural plate that is bent or pressed, and where J2 impact toughness must still be documented.
Limits
S355J2+N in heavy plate. S355MC when EN 10149 is the standard the drawing knows.
Delivery
We source S355J2C from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. Standard: S355J2C+N. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
S355J2C can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
