What it is used for
Forging and die-casting tools that see heat, in Unimax / W360 ISOBLOC.
Limits
1.2344 is the workhorse. ESR/proprietary grades when thermal fatigue is critical.
Delivery
We source Unimax / W360 ISOBLOC from European mill partners as round bar, flat bar, plate, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: soft annealed. Standard: ESR varmarbejde. From one sawn piece of the block to a series of parts — with no minimum charge.
Certificates and documentation
Unimax / W360 ISOBLOC can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. Tool steel is bought on W.Nr. and condition, and we write the number on the paper that the mill can carry — not a trade name the certificate does not cover. If a specific delivery hardness is to be documented, it must be on the order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
