X5NiCrCeNb32-27 / 1.4877 is a heat-resistant stainless steel. W.Nr. 1.4877. It holds its oxide scale in dry heat — it is not a 316L for wet chlorides. Typically supplied as seamless tube, welded tube.

What it is used for
Furnace parts, flue gas and dry heat, where X5NiCrCeNb32-27 has to hold its scale.
Limits
Dry heat. Not a first choice in wet chlorides — that is 316L or duplex.

Certificates and documentation
X5NiCrCeNb32-27 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On stainless, the analysis and the delivery condition are what the certificate shows. If a specific test or an ageing/hardening condition is to be documented, it must be specified before we order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
