1.4507 is a super duplex with copper (F255 / S32520). Cu lifts acid resistance above 2507 in certain media — welding and ferrite balance are still duplex.

What it is used for
Sulphuric acid-related process and chlorides where 2507 needs Cu as well.
Limits
2507 / 1.4410 when Cu is not required. 1.4501 (F55) when both W and Cu are needed.

We source 1.4507 from European mill partners as round bar, plate, flat bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: solution annealed. Standard: X2CrNiMoCuN25-6-3. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
1.4507 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On stainless, the analysis and the delivery condition are what the certificate shows. If a specific test or an ageing/hardening condition is to be documented, it must be specified before we order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
