What it is used for
Small gears and wear surfaces where the drawing says C15E and not just C15.
Limits
C15 when E is not required. 16MnCr5 when the section grows.
Delivery
We source C15E from European mill partners as round bar, flat bar, square bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +A / +FP. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
C15E can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. The certificate documents the analysis and the delivery condition — not the finished case hardening, since case and core hardness only arise at the heat treater. If the hardening result is to be documented, that is a separate agreement. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
Dimension programme
| Form | Range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar | Ø10–200 mm | Cut to length. State Ø and condition. |

| Square bar | Cut to order | State side length. |
The range is a delivery programme, not a stock statement. Length is cut to your drawing.
