E235 is a mechanical tube to EN 10297 / EN 10305. W.Nr. 1.0308. It is not S235 structural plate — the certificate is for tube.

What it is used for
Precision and mechanical tube, hydraulic cylinder mother tube and thick-walled tube as an alternative to round bar.
Limits
S235JR when it is structural plate. E355 when the tube needs more strength.
Delivery
We source E235 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
E235 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
