Weldable structural steel
E335 / 1.0060 non-alloy structural steel
E335 (St60-2) is older high-strength engineering steel. The strength is there. Weldability and toughness are not at S355 level.

Older specifications not yet rewritten to EN 10025 or EN 10083.
Limits
Ask whether the job is really S355, C45 or 42CrMo4 before we lock in the material.
Delivery
We source E335 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
E335 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
Dimension programme
| Form | Range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar | Ø40–250 mm | Hot-rolled bar, cut to length. |
| Flat bar | Cut to order | Flat bar. |
| Plate | 5–120 mm thickness | Structural plate. No page per thickness. |
The range is a delivery programme, not a stock statement. Length is cut to your drawing.
