S460NH / 1.8901 non-alloy structural steel
S460NH is normalised structural steel with 460 MPa yield. NH is elevated temperature — sister to S460NL, which documents the cold side.

What it is used for
Hollow sections and plate where S355 becomes too thick and S690QL is more than the job requires.
Limits
S460NL when −50 °C must be documented. P460NH when it is a pressure vessel.
Delivery
We source S460NH from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
S460NH can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
