What it is used for
ASME pressure plate in the lower Cr-Mo range.
Limits
SA387-11 or 13CrMo4-5 when chromium and Mo have to go up.
Delivery
We source SA387-12 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +NT / +QT to standard. Standard: SA-387 Gr. 12. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
SA387-12 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On pressure-bearing material the certificate is part of the product: standard, condition and tests must be on the enquiry, and 3.2 must be agreed before the material is locked at the mill. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials — 3.2 and third party by project, when the mill can issue it.
