1.4713 is a ferritic, heat-resisting chromium-aluminium steel. Cheaper in nickel than 309/310 — different toughness and welding.

What it is used for
Furnace parts and dry heat where austenite is more than the job needs.
Limits
1.4762 at higher Cr. 1.4828 when austenite is needed.
Delivery
We source 1.4713 from European mill partners as round bar, plate, flat bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: solution annealed. Standard: X10CrAlSi7. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
1.4713 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On stainless, the analysis and the delivery condition are what the certificate shows. If a specific test or an ageing/hardening condition is to be documented, it must be specified before we order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
