A106-B pressure vessel steel
A106 Grade B is the common seamless ASME carbon steel pipe for elevated temperature. The duty is similar to P265GH — the certificate is ASTM/ASME, not EN 10216-2.

What it is used for
Process and steam pipe in inch sizes when the plant is specified to ASME.
Limits
P265GH when EN and PED govern. A106-C when the C class is specified. API 5L Gr B when it is line pipe.
Delivery
We source A106-B from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +N / +NT. Standard: A/SA-106 Gr. B. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
A106-B can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On pressure-bearing material the certificate is part of the product: standard, condition and tests must be on the enquiry, and 3.2 must be agreed before the material is locked at the mill. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials — 3.2 and third party by project, when the mill can issue it.
