API 5L Grade B / L245 is line pipe for oil and gas. PSL1 or PSL2 is stated on the PO. It is not P235GH boiler pipe.

Transmission lines where API 5L B or L245NE/NB is specified.
Limits
X42 and upwards when strength needs to go up. A106-B when it is plant piping, not line pipe.

We source API 5L Gr B from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +AR or +N. Standard: API 5L Grade B. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
API 5L Gr B can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On welded structures it is the analysis, the strength class and — where the standard requires it — the impact toughness that the certificate must show. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials, and 3.2 is ordered when the project requires third party.
