What it is used for
Hardened wear parts where the E requirement is on the drawing.
Limits
C45E when toughness weighs heavier. Alloy QT steel when the core must be included in a heavier section.
Delivery
We source C60E from European mill partners as round bar, flat bar, square bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +A, +N or +QT. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
C60E can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. The condition is what the certificate has to carry on C60E: as-rolled, +N and +QT are not the same product, and if a hardness or strength is to be documented in the delivered dimension, the requirement belongs on the enquiry. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
