2304 / 1.4362 is a lean duplex. Higher strength than 304/316, less Mo than 2205.

What it is used for
Structures where 304 is too weak and 2205 is more than the chloride requirement.
Limits
2205 in higher chlorides. 316L when duplex welding is not wanted.
Delivery
We source Duplex 2304 from European mill partners as round bar, plate, flat bar, seamless tube, welded tube, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: solution annealed. Standard: X2CrNiN23-4. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
Duplex 2304 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On stainless, the analysis and the delivery condition are what the certificate shows. If a specific test or an ageing/hardening condition is to be documented, it must be specified before we order. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials.
