SA516 Grade 60 is ASME pressure plate in the lower strength class. Close to P265GH in application — the certificate is ASME, not EN 10028.

What it is used for
Vessels and heat exchangers specified to ASME/ASTM.
Limits
P265GH when EN 10028 is the standard the notified body expects. SA516-70 when strength has to go up.
Delivery
We source SA516-60 from European mill partners as plate, flat bar, round bar, cut to your dimensions and ship the certificate with the material. Typical condition: +N / +NT. Standard: SA-516 Gr. 60. From a single cut piece to larger lots — with no minimum charge, so you do not have to buy a full commercial length to get what you need.
Certificates and documentation
SA516-60 can be supplied with a material certificate to EN 10204, depending on producer, dimension and the requirements specified for the delivery. On pressure-bearing material the certificate is part of the product: standard, condition and tests must be on the enquiry, and 3.2 must be agreed before the material is locked at the mill. EN 10204 3.1 can be supplied on a wide range of our materials — 3.2 and third party by project, when the mill can issue it.
